PAWTUCKET, RI—Today, Attorney General Peter Kilmartin launched his reelection campaign at the Walter G. Gatchell VFW Post 306 in Pawtucket.

“The Attorney General is a serious role, one that requires responsible leadership,” Kilmartin said. “That means putting people and policy over politics, and putting justice over expediency.  For the last four years, I’ve made sure my administration has been worthy of this office.”

“For the last four years, I’ve had the honor of serving as Rhode Island’s Attorney General.  And today, I’m here to humbly ask you for the privilege to serve for another four years as your Attorney General,” said Kilmartin. “As your Attorney General, I have committed to make government in Rhode Island more transparent; protect families and consumers from big banks and scam artists; and make our neighborhoods safer and more secure. And I will not stop.”

Attorney General Kilmartin was introduced by his older brother, retired U.S. Army Major Sergeant Stephen Kilmartin, and accompanied by his wife, Kristine, and several other family members.
